Reputation: K-tag can read via BDM and many original tools makes virtual read and write obd. You can even use kess clone for obd write if you find correct original file somewhere.

Currently the only way to extract any more BHP from these is via an under the bonnet tuning box which is never the best plan even for cars that have had their ECUs cracked due to inherent risks with fuel and boost pressures and their signals being falsified instead of actually changed inside the software.
The result is unrealistic power gains if any at all with petrol or diesel tuning boxes. However real tuning of these VAG cars is just around the corner and those that have not been tempted by false BHP claims will be rewarded by genuine gains in performance and drive ability. We do this to be at the forefront of technological advancements in the tuning industry and to understand fully the operations of a given ECU before bringing it to the public domain.
Using a slave mobile remapping company for example is fine as long as you know who the MASTER file provider is and they have adequate knowledge of the software and engine they will be tuning. We pride ourselves on doing the job right first time, there are a few very few manufacturers that we are just not so clued up on for example a lot of Japanese stuff, we do actually advise customers that with Japanese cars we are probably not the right company for them to choose to remap or tune their car as we have not really spent anytime studying and the software, unlike German cars for example that we know pretty much inside and out and love tuning them.
We love experimenting with our development cars and we have a few because it means that whatever happens to them, we know that when we are tuning our customers cars we have the correct and accurate knowledge behind us to do the job properly.
